1.7fl oz (50 ml)
Lingonberry’s primary action is as a harmonizer for the urinary tract and intestines normalizing bacterial flora, and as a tonic for the immune system. It has a tonic effect on the uterus. The secondary action is on the mineralization of bones and preventing joint degradation. Lingonberry acts on structural protein degradation of tissue due to aging or disease.

The buds of this little shrub are so small that it is the young shoots that are used to prepare Lingonberry Gemmotherapy Extract. It forms fairly short (maximum 24 inches – 60 cm high), dark green, often very extensive carpets on poor, acidic soils of moors, open forests and drying peat bogs, mainly in mountainous areas. Its presence indicates the degradation of the superficial strata of the soil. Excellent companion of conifers, it often shares its territory with European blueberries. Its roots form a tight tangle of creeping and branching stems on the soil surface that hinders the development and germination of other plants. Its evergreen leaves have been used as an alternative to tea, its flowers resemble bells and its fruits are small, acidulous red berries, sought after in Northern Europe for the preparation of jams, fermented drinks and to accompany game.
It was one of the favorite buds of Dr. Pol Henry, father of Gemmotherapy. According to him, “If there was to be only one cure left, it would be this one.” He made it the master remedy for aging.
